Some of the traditions this company actively seeks to protect extend 20,000 years into prehsitory, such as the horn work! The Ancient scholar, Pliny - dedicated a book in his Natural Histories to clay; Savon Noir uses the most ancient soap making process ascribed to the Syrians, alum stone was used by the Ancient Egyptians and Ancient Chinese. Clay water storage systems are promoted for safe water storage across Africa today. It is easy to assume that these products had been used for thousands of years for the benifit of humand and animals, well before the use was recorded by scholars.
The core imports are more or less unprocessed i.e rhassoul clay is extracted by hand, and then merely mixed with water to allow stones to be seived and then sun-dried. The alum stone deodorant is simply collected from the desert surface, and the Argan oil is a virgin pressing of the oil rich kernals from the most carefully selected argan fruits. Even though the products are more or less raw, they are totally complete, effective and pleasurable to use. Some of the products, when the raw materials are avilable are made in the UK. For example the clay pots are made just one mile away from the HQ.
Each product is 'green' and fully traceable and Natural Spa Supplies prides itself on its first hand knowledge and direct experience with each product. The products and packaging are biodegradable, recyclable or reusable. The products can be used for virtually all hair and skin types are are especially recommended for skins troubled with eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and acne.
